The 8-week Taiji Experience
‘Taiji’ or ‘Tai Chi’ is an art originating from China which is sometimes referred to as meditation in motion. You may have watched or even experienced Taiji at some point through your life and wondered “What the heck is that all about?” or “Why are people moving in slow motion like that?”
This course is taught by certified instructor Andy Wee and is an Auckland based, 8- week, 1 hour per week, Taiji experience designed to introduce people to Taiji in a relaxed and fun way. Through it we will explore the movements of Taiji, the principles behind the movements and how it all fits within the Chinese Taoist philosophical world view.
Regardless of age and level of fitness, whether you continue with Taiji or not, this experience is designed to give you a perspective and way of being that may be different from your current modes of thinking and being and something you can access for the rest of your life.
Note: for interested groups e.g. companies, retirement homes or just a bunch of friends who want something to do together we are happy to discuss coming to you for this experience
